DIY Canvas Photos

One of the nice things about my holiday break was that I was able to catch up on some things I needed to do around the house. For example hang these canvas photos in my little guy's room. He loves them and has been spending more time in his room since I hung them and well I like to think it is because of that..hehe!

You might remember them from his Memorial Day 6th Birthday BBQ.

As promised in the original post, here is tutorial on how to make them yourself. Yes I know it's been a while but better late than never right??!

The whole project cost about $12.00, super easy and cheap to make.

Purchased this photo fabric paper from Jo-Ann's but you could also use canvas paper (see below).

Printed photos on the fabric paper. I was able to print two photos on one sheet for the smaller frames.

Purchased some different size wood frames at Dollar Tree, wrapped the photos around the frames, and used the staple gun to secure. Stapled the fabric to the back of the frames, pulling the fabric to make sure it was tight. You could also use a glue gun and/or wood plaques. To be honest the back is a total mess..but who is going to look at the back??

For the BBQ I just leaned them up against the mirror, did not worry too much about how I was going to hang them. So when I decided to hang them, I was so happy when I found the 3m Command Damage Free Picture Hanging Strips. So easy and you don't have to worry about wall damage. Beyond perfect!

I could have added some nice ribbon or craft paper to the sides to finish it up, but I did not...but I guess I could add it later! I really do think it is a nice touch.

Recently I have seen quite a few DIY tutorials on Pinterest, these are a few of my favorite, but involve Mod Podge (which I have never tried).

Silhouette + Heat Transfer + Fabric = LOVE

Happy New Year everyone!! I know it's the 12th, but this is my 1st post of the year! Wut Wut!! Hope you had a fabulous holiday season. I sure did, taking a couple weeks off was the best decision ever. I think I will do that every year. It gave me the chance to truly enjoy my family, organize my home (sorta) and give myself some much needed me time. Like I said BEST decision ever!

Santa (the hubby) was extra nice to me too..gotta love him. He got me this new spankin' Silhouette!

Needless to say I was beyond happy and I have to admit a tini bit scared of it..hehe. It took me a couple weeks to test it out BUT guess what??! It is not that hard to use at all..I promise..check out my 1st test run...

I used this glittery heat transfer paper I had in stock ( you do not want to know how I use it before..yes the hard way!)

Downloaded the image onto the Silhouette software added the text and placed glittery iron on heat transfer into the Silhouette, hit send to Silhouette, customize the cut setting, cut and it cut it perfectly!

Ironed the heat transfer onto the onesie..and PRESTO! (I probably should have ironed the onesie better..hehe..sorry it was a test run remember)

This one was more easy peasy..just used text. The most ridic part is that you can use ANY FONT that you have on your computer..love that!

I wanted to test cutting fabric too.. so I had some fabric left over from a party or something (who knows). Anyhow, I had read on their website that you could buy their adhesive and/or a start up kit ($39.00) well I am cheapo..I have this Heat n Bond iron on adhesive (like $4.00)..so decided to see how well that would work.

I ironed the fabric to the adhesive..

Downloaded the image, loaded it onto the Silhouette, did the whole cut thing (see above).

Cut image perfectly...awwwe so nice!! No more hand cutting ever!!

Ironed it onto the shirt..added some bling..and..

TADA!!!

What do you think?? Pretty cool right??! Next thing on my must learn list is the print and cut option. It does look a little complicated, but lucky for me Stacy at She's Kinda Crafty has an awesome tutorial (find it here) that I am SO going to follow..and if I still cannot do it..I will ask my sweet friend the queen of the Silhouette Jill at Peas and Thank You's (see her genius work here) for help!

Sophia's Baby Shower (Pink, Black, and White Theme)

Who is baby Sophia you ask?? She is my soon to be great niece (yes I said GREAT)! My sister hosted the shower this past weekend. I was very happy when she asked me to help her with the decor.

Mom-to-be requested a pink, black & white damask theme. She was prepared with tons of photos of things she loved. Which included a photo of a super cute banner made by Parker's Prints. This became the inspiration for the rest of the shower.

Dipped Rice Crispy treats made by me..sorta (me no bake).

Delicious and gorgeous chili and carmel apples made by MKR Creations.

Flower arrangements made by me, this was my first attempt to make flower balls.. have to admit I failed..hehe! But in the end..I think it worked..kinda..right??

Super cute banner made by Stephanie (Parker's Prints).

Tables included baby bottles (added Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter to give it a little sparkle) I was inspired by this pin on pinterest. Boxes centerpieces inspired by this photo that was given to me by mama to be and runners made by me.

Clothesline included adorable tini clothes for baby Sophia.

Caitlyn's Dohl (1st Birthday Celebration)

This little doll (Caitlyn) belongs to my dear sweet friend Helen. She recently celebrated her Dohl. A Korean 1st birthday celebration that involves praying, giving thanks, wearing a Hanbok (Han-bok), preparing a special table, performing the Toljabee, and sharing food with the guests and neighbors. I was beyond honored that Helen asked me to help her with this very special celebration.

Helen decided on a "White Tiger" theme, since Caitlyn was born in the year of the white tiger (which is suppose to be a very lucky year). I found the perfect little tiger graphic on Etsy and changed it to white and added a little flower to give it a girly touch! Since I was not going to be able to help Helen set up the day of the Dohl, I created a diagram for her to get an idea of how to set up her table.

What do you think?? From diagram to reality!! Mama did good!

Precious birthday girl!

The super ADOHLABLE cake toppers were made by the fabulous Lynlee of Lynlee Petite Cakes. Her work is truly amazing! The table also included the traditional rice cakes, flowers, and fruit (lemons).

The little white tiger cookies made by Roni of Roni Sugar Creations. Are they not the cutest??

Helen found a great tutorial on how to make your own Dohl towers on the Korean 1st Birthday Blog. She used the tiger template I sent to her to make the tiger dohl tower, however making the flower with the beans or candy was a little complicated so I made her a little fabric flower instead.

Beyond love these!

I made the letter blocks using pink and yellow boxes. So super easy to make..a tutorial coming soon.

Toljabee involves placing items infront of baby such as needle and thread, book, pencil or pen, rice cake and money. It is believed that the item the baby selects will tell the child's future. The first and second items the baby chooses are the most important, since Miss Caitlyn chose the money and the pen this means she will be wealthy and a scholar. Yay Caitlyn!!

Nothing better than learning new traditions right??! Especially when they are so special and sweet. I truly enjoyed it and hope to be able to do it again someday!

Halloween 2011

Halloween is so much fun right??! Costumes, candy, and spooky decorations! But what I love the most is how excited and happy our kids get! The joy in their face is just priceless.

Here are our tini ones celebrating Halloween this year. Rose's babies are getting big, can you guess who Nate is suppose to be??

And my lil Bat Girl and Angry Bird..and yes the hubs and I could not resist..we had to wear the masks too..hehe!

Our Lil Angry Bird

Julian is currently obsessed with all things Angry Birds! So when I asked him what did he want to be for Halloween he did not even think twice..he said the black Angry Bird. When I searched our local Halloween stores and online shops all costumes were SOLD OUT! I did find some on Ebay for $175..

BUT I could not bring myself to spend that much money (yikes!) and there was one little problem..the costume design. I was so worried Julian would not wear it because of his sensory issues. I love the costume but I don’t think that HE would have liked the way it wrapped around his head. I asked him if he would consider another costume..but he said NOPE.

I was giving up all hope..until I found Jen’s Etsy shop Squirmy Worms. She was sold out too, but I sent her a convo..begging her to please make ONE more. She was sooo sweet and agreed! Cannot tell you how grateful I am! The costume is BEYOND perfect and he LOVES it! You must check out her shop she has the cutest diaper treats and special baby shower gifts!

Here is our Lil Angry Bird at his school Halloween parade on Friday..he was a little overwhelmed by all the costumes and change of schedule..he literally was an Angry Bird..hehe. But he did enjoy it towards the end .

I also found a mask at the Softie Cafe Etsy shop. He could not wear it to school, but will wear it for Halloween. Keeping my fingers crossed!

And yes that is an Angry Bird Pumpkin he is holding! Can’t take credit for this super cute idea. Staci at Lizard and Ladybug made the most adorable Angry Bird pumpkins ever..check out her post here. Julian stole..I am sorry borrowed her idea!

For his classroom treats I cheated (gasp!)..they are not handmade by mama. It was a super busy week and had to think of a plan B. I was so happy when found these adorably spooky containers at Michaels. I filled them with candy corn and added a special Happy Halloween tag made especially for our little Angry Bird fan!

Seven Years Ago..We said "We Do"

Seven years ago today I married the love of my life.

I can’t believe it..really seven years??! I can still close my eyes and remember that perfect day like it was yesterday, where in front of God, family and friends we said “we do”.

I remember feeling very nervous before walking into the church, but as soon as those doors opened and I saw him smiling, his eyes tearing up and the love in his face. I was no longer nervous and for the first time ever I felt God’s presence..and just like that my worry was gone. All that mattered was us taking our vows, promising to love and cherish each other forever and ever!

And to think..it all started with one amazing kiss on the beach..13 years ago. I can still feel the butterflies in my stomach, the joy in my heart and the soft whisper of god telling me ‘HE will be your husband”. From that moment on, I knew he was the one, my heart was no longer mine..but his.

I am not sure what amazing thing I did in my prior life to deserve such a wonderful man. But I am beyond grateful, and thank god everyday for my Greg. He is such a loving and caring husband, my biggest supporter, fan, my best friend and the most amazing father ever.

I love that even after 13 years:

I can still look into his eyes and see nothing but LOVE

He still makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the room

He loves me just as I am, flaws and all..and would NEVER ask me to change

He still calls me everyday, just to tell me he loves me

We talk about everything and anything

Every love song is ours

He is so strong..yet so sweet

Together we get through the obstacles of life and he makes me feel safe

Our most perfect days are together..just us..just doing nothing

We still laugh..we still sweet talk..we still love

Today I reflect and rejoice on the seven happiest years of my life. Because of him.

Happy Anniversary baby...I would say “I do” a zillion more times to you! You will forever be my “Hermoso Carino”.

My Quick and Easy Halloween Decorations

I must start off by saying that I am far from being a MAJOR Halloween decorator type. But now that the little ones are getting bigger, I feel like I need to do a little more..for them. Ok maybe I did enjoy it a little bit too..lol!

I wanted a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to transform my mantel.

First I removed everything off the mantel.

Purchased these $1.00 black frames at Dollar Tree..yep Uno dollar!! I am cheapo what can I say. Looked through a zillion past Halloween photos and printed a few of my favorites (this was the hardest part!). Framed my favorites and placed them on the mantel.

I placed two glittery pumpkins (Target's dollar section..yes I am an addict) on top of my candle sticks. Added a "BOO" banner...from last year's FaBOOLous birthday party for Yaya (too cute not to bring it back out) and TADA!!! I know..not the most gorgeous mantel you have ever seen..but my kiddies love it!

Can you guess which "Little Rascal" they are suppose to be??

Like I said before, I don't decorate too much, but I do like to add a couple touches throughout the house. Don't you just LOVE this Halloween Subway Art?? I saved the BEST for last..this gorgeous leaf wreath made by our little guy at school. Sometimes the most simple things are truly what makes your home..a home. Hand made items made with LOVE..how can you go wrong??!

Finding my JOY!

God and me are BFF’s...he is the center of my life and homeMarried to a wonderful man that I love and adore

I have two kiddies, a very hyper but sweet boy and a bossy but big hearted little dollMy parents are my heroes

My family is my heartMy friends are beyond amazing

Life is perfecto right??! Actually.. not really, the last couple years I have been in a bit of a rut. It all began 3 years ago after I had my little doll, to be honest it felt like my joy was sucked out of me…slowly things have been getting better. Don’t get me wrong I did feel joy, love and grateful for all of gods blessings. However my anxiety, insecurities, and self doubt did take over a little bit.


I will be 38 tomorrow and I am giving myself the BEST gift ever! I will find my JOY this year! I am about to embark on a very special life journey of finding me again, I miss the old me like I can not even explain. The “me” that laughed more than worried and the “me” that took time to enjoy all the beauties of life! The “me” that can look in the mirror and not be ashamed and feel comfortable enough to say…yes world this is Me!

I will accept the fact that yes maybe I am not the best crafter, shop owner, blogger, mother, wife, daughter, or friend and that’s ok! I will stop believing I SHOULD do it all and just slow down! Read, play, listen, and just feed my soul. I think I have been starving it a tini bit. I will let god lead and I will learn to just follow.

 I invite you to come along on my journey. I will be blogging and vlogging about my new and old loves (don’t worry hubby not that kind of loves), my joys and struggles. Things I have neglected, such as decorating my home, taking care of my body, feeding my brain, loving my faith. I will of course continue to blog about parties, crafts, Tini Posh and my family as they are a BIG part of me.  But I am ready to learn new things, create new spaces, let go of fears, and truly just enjoy LIFE!

"Wild About Cupcakes" Party Package and Tutu..what came first?

I was a busy little bee this weekend, ok so yes I was suppose to be working on Halloween and a ton of other stuff, but truth be told I got a little sidetracked (happens a lot)! Check out our New "Wild about Cupcakes" Party package and tutu set. You likey??

SO the big question of the day is...What do YOU think came first? The egg or the chicken? No really..the tutu set or the party package??

If you guessed the Tutu set..you are right!! Well sorta..kinda..I had a similar Invitation and Cupcapake Topper designs, but revamped it with new colors (to match the tutu set) and added additional items.

So you see..I got inspired and went with it..what inspires you? How do you come up with your party themes or designs? And when are you the most creative? When you are trying to be or when you are just not even thinking about it? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Bloggy Update..and a FIesta!!

Wowsers! My last blog post was close to 30 days ago! Sorry I have been a tini bit busy! With what you ask???

Here is a list of my reasons (excuses..lol).

1. My little guy (Julian) is on summer break. He and his sister(Izabella) have me running around here like a chicken without its head. The two of them together ALL day usually equals craziness at my house but I must admit..also alot of fun! I am enjoying watching them play and interact, love to see what they are talking about or what cartoon they are pretending to be in..or just have some fun outside! They are growing up so FAST that I am just trying to soak it all in!

2. We also decided to take a much needed mini vacay..nothing fancy! Just drove up north to visit my papa and take the kiddies to the beach for a couple days. Nothing better than some fun in the sun! It was so nice to just be and not think about work and my endless lists.

3. Super EXCITED about this! Ready??? (Drum Roll) The lovely Natalie Robles the President & Founder of CPN (the best Children’s Party network ever!!) asked me to co host the 1st CPN So Cal Meet Up and Fiesta. The fiesta will take place in old town Pasadena on the night of August 13th. Yep less than 30 days away! As you can imagine I am totally excited (ok..lets be real for a second..and a lot of bit nervous) to meet everyone! Especially the Special Guests, Jillian of Catch My Party (I love & adore her and the website), Carolyn at CHS Creative Productions (have you seen the gorgeous parties she styles??) Abigail from Paper and Cake ( a printable partyware genius) and of course all the other party chicas, bloggers, and crafty mamas I love! So grateful Miss Nat asked me to help. I was and am beyond honored! I am helping her organize and keep track of all the sponsors..who let me tell you have to be the SWEETEST sponsors ever! I can’t thank them enough for being so generous and not making me beg! Because I would..LOL just kidding..well kinda!

4. Yes...work..in between all this greatness I am still working on orders and brainstorming with Rose about new Halloween items..yes I know its July!

So you see..although I love this Tini Blog, it usually falls to the bottom of my list (remember the endless list). I know I promised this in January but shhhh..here I go again..

Dear Blog,

I heart you! I promise to blog more often (and not only about parties and work, but also about everything I love, things that make me smile, family, friends, and struggles). I promise to give you the love and time you deserve!

Tini Customers: Red and Black Minnie Diva Party

Our client Sarah from Arkansas recently had an adorable red and black Minnie Diva party for her daughter Olivia’s 4th birthday. So sweet of her to email photos and details (we love customer photos!). I could not resist had to ask if she would be a guest on the blog. So thankful she agreed.

Sarah loves crafting and parties and is now combining her two loves to start a new venture in children’s parties. I am very happy and excited for her, she certainly has what it takes and I am looking forward to seeing many more of her parties.

Not afraid to get crafty, she made the lollipop Minnie head, the tutus for the dogs, decorated the cake stand, took apart a pink and black Minnie pinata and redid it in red and black, also added Olivia’s name on it...OMG too cute!

Cowgirl/Country Style Birthday Parties and Baby Showers

Our sweet client Jessica from Las Vegas, NV recently had a small cowgirl sprinkle for her 2nd lil chick due very soon! She ordered the invitations and lemonade labels from us (thanks so much Jess). Lemonade labels are the same as the BaByQ labels I made last year..except PINK lemonade! Too cute!

Cowgirl/Country theme baby showers and birthday parties are the theme to do. Here are a couple of my favorites each with its own twist and cuteness!

Jessica's Cowgirl Sprinkle..love the fabric on the Lemonade mason jars, the little pink wagon filled with cowgirl boot cookies made by The Sweetest Thing cookies and the cake is too cute!

Sweet D'Saenz Candy Buffet Cowgirl birthday table is beyond SWEET! Love the old fashioned cotton candy machine, the buffet frames, and mason jars used to hold the candy was a brilliant idea. To see more photos click here.

Memorial Day Family BBQ/ Julian's 6th Birthday Celebration

My brother Xavier and his family live in Washington and are visiting this week. We decided to host a small Memorial Day family BBQ for the family to come over to visit, eat some good food and have some family fun. Also, to kill two birds with one stone we decide to celebrate Julian's 6th birthday.

Because it was so last minute (you know I am the last minute queen) I did not have time to order online and I did not want to spend to much mula the BBQ includes a lot of DIY, upcycling, and bargain shopping (aka Dollar Stores).

Every great party starts at the door right?? Since Natalie from The Knock Knock Factory (aka Little Shindigs) also lives in So Cal, she was able to make this FUN red, white, and cute BBQ wreath. Her details were beyond amazing!

The weather was perfect setting up outside in the morning! Sunny and beautiful..then all of a sudden oh oh..the WIND! Everything was moving..we tried to get a good shot with everything in its place but it was hard, therefore the forks and straws are not perfectly alined and the paper fans..that were suppose to be my backdrop not perfectly centered..What can you do right? Thought you would appreciate the not so perfect table.

Star watermelon and blueberry cup idea came from Chica and Jo (also found via Pinterest).

Love using mason jars for our summer parties, had some left over from last years BaByQ. The Star flags I made with upcycled 4th of July popcorn boxes from last year. The tini pinwheels I purchased at Micheals 6 for $1.50! Thank you J for the heads up!

So I must admit..I did not make the paper fans..purchased them at Party City. $6.50 for all of them, just added the six to the middle and presto!

Kept the table centerpieces simple, I used coke bottles and large mason jars to hold flowers.

The kiddies drank cherry and blueberry Kool Aid juices, the grown peeps (like me) drank cranberry juice with fresh blueberries mixed with vodka..yummy!

Menu included good all american food, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, potato chips

Sweet treats included snowcones, cupcakes, peanuts, and fresh fruit cups

This is my most favorite decoration..I made the banner triangles and left the center blank for Julian to write his own name..made the banner extra special! The little guy truly enjoyed being my little helper..a memory I will have forever.

DIY canvas photos (total project was about $12.00 for all 6 photos..will post a tutorial soon).

Another quick and easy DIY I purchased large number 6 at the 99 cents store..wrapped it in yarn.

Julian's last minute request (he is the last minute prince..LOL) a Spongebob pinata..yes I know does not match the theme but it did make my little guy very happy! And not to mention it made the adults laugh..why does the candy come out of there?? LOL!

Julian got lots of great gifts and cards from everyone..he was a happy little guy! But his fave gift was from Uncle Xavier and Auntie Amanda..his first Wii..he loves it!

What a great day! It was a lot of fun getting the family together, eating great food, having yummy drinks and celebrating my little mans birthday!

My name is Jeannette Rivas, J for short (I hate my name, lol). I'm a mother of 3 and a wife, so as you can imagine I never have a dull moment. I recently started a small children's party planning company, working from home. I also have a brand new site to match, J. At Your Service.com. I've always had a passion for planning parties for my children, even if it's just cake and streamers. What matters to me most is that the children are having fun! Of course fun, unique details don't hurt either. I'm a lover of DIY projects, especially for my parties. I also have a love for the printable goodies and I wish I was talented enough to create those kinds of details, I am trying to learn though.

Lil Dude's 1st Birthday - Surf's Up

Meet Jennifer McGee:

I am a wife and mom of 2 beautiful boys, Landon (4) and Ryder(1). I'm a Full-time Dental Hygienist. I really love what I do! I love to decorate and garden. I'm addicted to Zumba!! Im really getting into a lot more DIY projects and trying to be more crafty. In addition I have ALWAYS enjoyed party planning and adding cute unique details to make a party extra special! I've always said if I wasn't a Dental Hygienist I would love to do party planning. Many of my friends tell me I should do it on the side. I have considered it and who knows what the future has in store for me?!

I had so much fun planning little Ryder's first birthday party. I picked the theme in January and then took off with my ideas. My oldest son's birthday is in December so we always have to have his parties indoors. In fact last year at his 4th birthday party it snowed! I hoped if I had another child it would be in a spring or summer month just so we could have outdoor birthday parties, lol. I LOVE the outdoors and so do both of my boys! In the summertime we are rarely indoors. We love the sunshine!

Claudia was AMAZING to work with!!! I contacted her back in January and told her my son's first birthday was the end of April and I wanted to go with a Surf's Up theme. She did such a fabulous job on her son's fifth birthday party it gave me a ton of inspiration. After the first couple emails we shared, I knew she was going to be awesome to work with. I couldn't have been more pleased with the things she made for me. I loved it all, but my favorite has to be the custom 12 month banner she made for Ryder. It is Super Cute and I will keep it forever! We were blessed with Gorgeous weather the day of the party. The party was at 5:00. I was a actually running a little behind, but a couple of my best friends came early to help me get everything set up ( Thank Goodness!) It was an evening filled with close friends and family, great food, and some fun beach music to get everybody in the festive mood! The birthday boy definitely had a blast and was in a great mood for his party. I'm so glad I have all the wonderful pics to look back on and remember baby Ryder's Surf's Up 1st Birthday.

Dress the Party ..Butterfly Theme

Brooke’s mama Jennifer contacted us to order some favor boxes and candy buffet labels for a small party she was planning for Brooke’s 5th birthday.

She was undecided on what she wanted..but the she knew that Brooke would be wearing this darling little dress...

So I ran with it..created these custom favor boxes and candy buffet labels using the dress as my inspiration..

Girls boxes had sweet butterflies fluttering around the gorgeous birthday girl..

We decided not to include the butterflies for the boys boxes..kept the same design..just less girly..

How To Bling Up a Onesie or Tee

I promised at the beginning of the year that I would post some How To tutorials..Yes I have been bad and not posted any so far! But have no fear..my 1st tutorial is here!

I recently got a request from a very special client to create a custom bling onesie for her daughter’s 1st birthday. She had ordered a onesie from Zazzle, but it was not quite what she expected. She wanted a onesie with a little more sparkle! Because I was short on time I was not able to create the custom onsesie but offered to add bling to the onesie she had ordered..she LOVED that idea!

Here is how YOU too can add bling to any of your tini ones tees or onesies. Add bling to a new tee or revamp an old one..upcycling is the new black!!

HOW TO:

Onesie Before

Supplies needed

Tweezers and an Iron

Hot Fix rhinestones (you can purchase them at Michaels, Joanns, or any crafty store)

Place bling on top of the text or wherever you want to add it (facing up). Keep doing this until done

Press on the bling with the hot iron (no steam) for about 20 seconds or until the bling is glued onto the onesie or tee

Presto! You are done!

Pair it up with a tutu... and your tini one is sure to look super sweet!

Aly did a great job at styling this birthday party for Lilah, but what I most enjoyed was seeing how much FUN the kids had! Love that she set up kids tables, Aly even got in the jumper with the tini ones, Lilah and her sister's photos are just precious (so sweet) and Lilah enjoying the bubble machine is the cutest!!

Thank you soo much Aly for allowing me to share Lilah's beautiful party! The best part about my job is seeing all the tini beauties that come through my email daily and I LOVE to see how our products are used, displayed and enjoyed!

Lil Miss Priss Party - Izabella's 3rd Birthday

As promised here are some photos and details of Izabella's 3rd Birthday party...our Lil Miss Priss had a blast and so did the all the other tini girls! Cupcakes and Makeovers for three year olds was a lot of fun..but exhausting..LOL! But I would do it again.. to see their little faces when they walked in and saw all the goodies filled my heart with joy..and made everything worth it!

Izabella is a girly girl, loves to put on my shoes, makeup,walks around the house with a purse full of junk and LOVES her ruffled undies ..LOL! When I stumbled upon the "Miss Priss" print from London Bri dge Childrens Etsy I instantly fell in LOVE!! This is so her!! This print became my inspiration for her party.

Since it was a small party of six girls it was really nice to be able to do more small touches for each of them. I made them tanks, tutus, pearl necklaces & bracelets, Blinged out hair bows and my favorite (idea that the fab Natalie of Little Shindigs gave me) shawls or capelets for each of the girls. Also purchased ruffled undies, rings, lipgloss, nail polish, bubble bath, "Beauty Sleep" eye covers, and purses.

My hubby works in Los Angeles..thank goodness..I was able to send him to the LA flower district to purchase a couple bundles of pink and white roses ( I usually make the trip myself but I got sick a couple days before theparty and was still recovering)..made small flower arrangements for the their table using the roses, feathers and bling. Filled the house with the leftover pink and white roses. The fab Brittany of Gre y Grey Designs made the adorable bow holder..isn't it the cutest?? You must visit her etsy shop! The "Izabella" banner on the fireplace was made with the most wonderful find at Michael's dollar bins! They have all sorts of color dollies (I think 10 in a pack)..just brought out the Cricut cut out the letters used double sided tape to adhere to the dollies and strung it through a pearl ribbon..presto..so easy!!

I decided that the perfect place to place the girls table was her room..its already pink and girly, it was the perfect setting. Purchased the damask and ruffled fabric and used them both as table cloths. Decided to do a tini sweets and treats table..it was just their size..they LOVED that!

The sweets were a big hit! Thanks to the lovely ladies that made the cutest sweets ever!! Terri from Terri's Treasures made the adorable Lil Miss Priss Cake Pops, Nikki at The Sweetest Thing made the super cute purse and high heel shoe cookies, and the lovely Rose made the cake balls and ruffled cake. The Lip Taffy Pops I purchased at Walmart..what a great find..the girls

loved everything!!

The girls really enjoyed getting pampered..and I soo enjoyed all the tini beauties! Especially my lil priss..seeing her happy..makes me happy!

(I wanted to share this adorable gift from Latisha from Eccentric Designs gave Izabella.. she designed this beautiful plate..I LOVE..she LOVES too! What an adorable gift right?? She can make any type of personalized design..you must visit her website!..Thank you Tish!)

Happy New Year..a quick update!

I can't believe it's January 10th already! How time flies when your having fun!! Here is a quick update on the things we have been working on:

My sweet baby Izabella will be turning three at the end of the month...I will be having a "Lil Miss Priss" Cupcakes and Makeovers party for her..having so much fun planning this "tini" gathering..not a big party this year, just a couple of girls ..but really enjoying the small touches I will be able to do for them..here is a sneak peek:

We had a wonderful time at Tai Pan yesterday (greatest place ever!!) During the holidays they always have the most AMAZING displays..here are a couple of our favorite trees and other items...hope they inspire you as they inspired us!

Isn't that chandelier breathtaking??? Love love love the black and white tree..and the Nativity display was just beautiful (reminds us that Jesus is the reason for the Season!)

A perfect thing or place to store our ribbons and tulle..we love our ribbons and tulle BUT we feel like we let them down..there has to be a better solution than those unattractive storage boxes they call home..booo!!
New fancy office chairs..yep we sit on our boodies most of the day (blogging, crafting, updating our Etsy shops, emailing...and so on!) Chairs that are not only comfortable but look FABULOUS would be a dream come true!!
An office (aka craft room) that looks just like the crazy Christmas Target lady..have you seen her craft room??? YES..that would be SWEET!!
More ribbon, tulle, and bling : )
A Silhouette machine (since we’re dreaming!)
Someone to update our blog, Facebook, Etsy shops, website, etc...everyday! (Ok every other day!)
Interns, who can sew, read our thoughts, craft, take professional photos, and don’t want to get paid (since we are dreaming again..lol!!)
Shelves in the garage organized with labeled baskets (Martha Stewart style)! Oh sweet hubby of mine..we have already taken over your space..sorry..let’s just make it look nice : )
A magical movie or thing that would keep our children entertained for at least two hours of uninterrupted work time (EVERYDAY)
An Easy button (like the staples commercial..but PINK) push the button and all our ideas would turn into reality ...without the misses and oops that was NOT suppose to happen moments! LOL!

Tini Customers: Lettuce Celebrate! Veggie Tales Party

Our customer Dorinda from Houston, Texas asked us to make a custom party package for her little guy Ju'elz. He is turning ONE and he adores the Veggie Tales! Such sweet cartoons with an even sweeter message for the kiddies! Loved working on this project..here is a sneak peak...

My goal was to try to keep the design simple but fun! I love working with Dorinda (this is our second custom party for her)..her only request was that I add a different scripture to each centerpiece..such a lovely detail!

(purple, orange, black, with a splash of zebra).

I channeled Natalie of Little Shindigs when setting up this Trick or Treat Table! During her chat on tips and tricks of inexpensive stylin on CPN, she said she would run around her house like a madwoman looking for items in her home she could use..

and yeah this mama did the same, not only my house but Rose’s too!!

Candle sticks, trays, wreath, empty boxes, anything I could find!!

This Manzanita tree has been the BEST $20.00 purchase ever!! Yep it’s the same tree from the BaByQ Shower and Roxy’s Quinceanera! This time I decided to add photos of the beautiful birthday girl, purchase these adorable frames at Michaels, added her photo and ribbon..BUT it was still not complete it needed some SPARKLE..added this adorable GLITTERY BOO centerpiece flag made by The Purple Pug and PRESTO..we got a centerpiece.

Now check out these super cute GLITTERY cupcake toppers ..yep the work of The Purple Pug again! Kristy’s work is AMAZING! Let me tell you we have tried working with glitter before and we get nowhere close to this perfection!

On Thursday the Amazing Genevieve of Celebrate Today the Superchick Way posted these adorable Glo Balls with Eye Ball Pops..LOVE THEM! But had to change them up a bit due to our color palette..found these zebra cakes..and again..Presto..thanks G! And who says a feather wreath only belongs on the door???

Another amazing crafty mama made the fabulous Trick or Treat and Boo Banners..Lisa from Party Flair Creations was great to work with..and lucky for us she only lives 10 minutes away!

Awwww the MESH...we so heart this mesh..so inexpensive and great!! We draped it on the ceiling, used it as a table cloth, Rose even draped it on her chandelier (sorry no photo) and window coverings...it looked fabulous!

picked up at an undisclosed location..wink wink!

Seriously I don’t even know how I made it to the list..but it is sooo Fabuloso! Kristy of The Purple Pug has taken on a HUGE challenge..showing love to 365 amazing talented women, one for each day of the year..I love to read her crushes everyday..to be included amongst these wonderful women truly is an honor.

There is nothing blah about Kristy..her Partywear is super glittery and fun! She is the master of glitter!! Her parties always look beyond perfection and did I forget to mention she is the Vice Presidente of The Childrens Party Network?? Yeah!! You would think she would have a HUGE ego and a Attitude..but not this Amazing Mama..she is the best kind of human there is..kind, funny, clever, and honest. Oh Mi Dios! It's official, the banner is up! I am the Hostess of the Week at CPN! Super Excited!! Who am I kidding!! I am SUPER nervous!!LOL!

I heart CPN! Natalie and her Fabulous team of party divas Kristy, Kori, Debbie, Chris and Kim have created the most wonderful place for all party fanatics (like me). I am obsessed I tell you!

When I put the kids down for a nap, in-between work, or late at night I have to get my CPN fix! It's very addicting..where else can you find a ton of AMAZING party photos and inspiration or the most talented, creative, and SUPPORTIVE women anywhere! Who speak my language??? and did I mention..super funny..they make me laugh on my gloomiest days! oh..and a time saver too!! No more searching the web (like a madwoman) for inspiration for the next shindig or when I need an answer on "Where do I buy mason jars?"..Yeah you get an answer right away!! There is always someone there to help!!

You see my dilemma I HEART it ALL!! I don't want to embarrass myself and/or network and get boooed from this happy little place (well not so little..I think it's over 500 members!!) ok shaking again!!

Don't you LOVE all the classic cartoons??? I know I do!! When Savannah's parents came to me with this theme..I was so in!! Everyone knows Pebbles is the CUTEST lil diva ever!!

Check out this Pebbles inspired party..I can't take all the credit..Fred (Savannah's pappy) was very much the man behind this shindig!

Fred spray painted the "Dino Eggs" and "Bowling Pins" to give them that aged look..so great!

I loved working with this color combo too, pink, green, and black..bright and fun! Just like the birthday girl..hope she loved her 1st Birthday Party..I know we did!!

Sneak Peak Roxanne's Quince!

Long story short..my sweet niece Roxanne is having her Quinceanera on August 21st..my sister hired a party planner over a year ago, who was taking care of all the details..now the party planner is M.I.A!!! Yep.. nothing had been done! The Quience is less than a month away!

I can't believe it's been a year!! I had the honor of making Elizabeth's Birth Announcements a year ago..time goes by too quickly!

Lil Elizabeth will be celebrating her 1st birthday this Sunday at home in Arizona..I can't wait too see the photos! Her mama is having a lil princess celebration for her!! Sandy (her grammy) bought her the cutest #1 pinata..they will be using these cones for the pinata candy

...aren't they the cutest! I found them at Joanns! I added the label and presto...but really you can use them for popcorn..favors..etc! She will be rocking this onesie (made with love) with one of her many tutus! Happy Birthday Elizabeth...enjoy your DAY!!
