Wedding Style for Lover.ly

I love everything about LOVE. I am definitely a romantic kind of girl. The kind that loves weddings and all the planning that goes along with it. The hubby and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and let me tell you things were soooo different back then! We did not have Lover.ly or anything like it.  Life would have been much easier for this crazy bridezilla....just kidding, sorta!

Lover.ly is your one-stop-shop for wedding planning where brides and grooms find ideas, people to hire and things to buy. I absolutely LOVE it! When they challenged me to style an ultra chic wedding dress for either a Parisian affair, a lavish wedding in Bora Bora or dream nuptials in Italy. I was like challenge accepted.

The choice was easy for me, I adore Italia! I mean look at all this beauty!! It screams ROMANCE to me.

I browsed through the dresses in the Lover.ly shop. Instantly fell love with this elegant vintage solstiss lace dress. So classy and gorgeous. I think it is perfect dress for this breathtaking scenery.  To complete the look I found these to-die-for heels (Oh Jimmy how I love thee), stunning earrings and a glam beaded clutch.  Since I am dreaming I imagined holding this gorge deep red/pinks floral bouquet as I walked down the aisle to say I do to the love of my life. I would incorporate this color palette throughout the wedding decor. I like it, I like it a lot.
 1. Vintage Solstiss Lace Wedding Dress // 2. Jimmy Choo Heels // 3. Cheryl King Couture Earrings              // 4. Floral Bouquet // 5. Beaded Clutch

Ladies if you are planning your own dream nuptials you MUST visit Lover.ly but be ready to spend some time drooling over their gorgeous inspiration, organizing your ideas by creating bundles,  reading their helpful tips, tricks and trend reports, and of course shopping for all of your needs!

Thank you Lover.ly for the opportunity to work with you on this super fun project and allowing this romantic girl to dream a little.

Dream on,
Claudia

Falling Up with Julep

I absolutely LOVE everything about fall! Comfy days that include sweaters, scarfs, boots, and a warm cup of Starbucks... YEP those are my kind of days. But I am also thankful for the special fall days (birthday, anniversary, Thanksgiving) that gives me a reason to get a little fancy while wearing fall rich colors.

SO when Julep asked me to take part in their Falling Up challenge by creating looks highlighting their beautiful nail polish colors I was like...hell ya!

Honestly the hardest part was choosing my fave color from their transition into fall colors. I seriously LOVE them ALL! But in true Libra form, I chose not one but FIVE.

Here are my Julep inspired transitional looks, that take you from summer to fall.

Comfy Fall

Comfy Fall by tiniposh featuring Julep

Athleta grey shirt / H&M skinny jeans, / Tory burch boots / Kate Spade purple earrings / MARC BY MARC JACOBS tech accessory / Faliero Sarti scarve,  / MARC BY MARC JACOBS tortoise shell glasses / Nail care / Porcelain mug
This Comfy Fall outfit, is the EVERYDAY uniform for this busy mama. I throw on a sweater, jeans, boots, studs, lipgloss, shades, and of course a super cute shade of nail polish like Beverly and I am ready for anything that comes my way.
Blushing Fall

H M shirts top,  / Alexandre Vauthier white blazer, / H&M high waisted skinny jeans, / Kate Spade ankle strap pumps / Vegan purse / Irit Design chain fringe earrings / Nail care
Who said soft beautiful colors like Clara are not for fall?! I seriously love this color and outfit, it's soft but edgy. Perfect for a girls night out.
Floral for Fall

H M plus size white shirt,  / Chicnova Fashion floral kimono / Levi's blue skinny jeans, / ASOS real leather shoes / Balenciaga buckle purse / Wet Seal bracelets bangle / MARC BY MARC JACOBS silver tone watch / Crystal jewellery, / Blue nail polish
The best thing about fall is that you can easily transition your summer trends into fall. For example Floral print and blues. I was all about them in the summer and guess what?! I am still about them. Luck for me I live in Cali, I can still throw on a floral kimono and sandals for a quick and easy look. Misti is on my nail color to do list for sure!
Fall Love

Fall Love by tiniposh featuring Julep

Midi body con dress, $29 / Paul Andrew leather shoes, $930 / Gerard darel handbag / House of Harlow 1960 engraved jewelry / Oasis rolo chain necklace, $29 / Claudette nail care / Home Essentials glass wine glasses
Ok, so you know that I had to pick CLAUDETTE, hello sounds like Claudia! AND the color is GORGEOUS! This look is perfect for a date with my love. Fall in love and stay in love, right?!

Fancy Fall

Fancy Fall by tiniposh featuring Julep

Rick Owens brown cardigan / I am so fancy shirt, / J.Crew jeans / High heel shoes, / Marc Jacobs black purse, / Michael kors jewelry / Crystal jewelry / Allurez gold jewelry / Nail care
I am in love with every single item in this look. From the cheetah heels to the Alaina nail polish.  I wish I could wear this everyday...ok maybe switch out the heels for some flats...lol!

Here is ALL of Julep's Falling Up colors. Aren't they stunning? Which one is your fave?? Will you take the challenge too?? YES, you must!

Please leave me a comment below if you create your own fall looks using Julep's Falling up colors. I would LOVE to take a look.

Thank you Julep for the opportunity to work on this fun challenge and look forward to the next one!

XOXO,
Claudia

Happy Birthday Tini Posh {Free "Enjoy the Tini things" Print }

Hey shorty, it's OUR birthday, we are going to party like it's YOUR birthday!!
Happy 4th Birthday to the Tini Posh Etsy shop!!

It has been a wonderful four years! Thank you so much to all the super sweet customers. It is because of you that I am able to do what I truly love.  I have enjoyed every minute of it. I love hearing your stories, seeing your photos, and most of all helping you bring your visions to life.  Every celebration has been special not only to you but to me.

I learned a lot the last couple of years, I learned that I took this leap of faith and started this small business for my love of crafting and designing, but also for my love of celebrating life. Not only do I love celebrating the soon to be newborn, the ever so special 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th birthday, the celebration of love or faith, but also just those tini moments. Everyday is a gift. Everyday brings new joys and tini celebrations.

Thank you to all of you, my returning customers, my 1st time customers, my soon to be customers, my fans and supporters, my beautiful and talented peers and friends that keep me motivated and inspire me daily, and most of all my tini family, who are my joy and inspiration, and have taught me the biggest lesson of all….to enjoy the tini things.

To celebrate I am sharing a FREE printable for all of you. Leave me your email address here on the blogpost, Facebook, Instagram, or email me at claudia@tiniposh.com and I will email you the print to you : )

Much love,
Claudia

P.S. Remember that sharing is caring, so if you love the print and know someone that would love it to. Share it : )

Honey Bunny Tutu Set - Easter 2014 {DIY}

Don't you just LOVE the Target dollar spot??! Like seriously, right?!! I don't remember the last time I walked out of Target without one or a couple must have items in my cart.  Last week I found this adorable bunny hat. It was too darn cute to pass up.
While it is totally cute and adorbs, I decided to add just a tini bit more cuteness by adding a little pink bow. I also made a matching pink and grey tutu for a little honey bunny I love.
Pair these pieces together with a onesie color of your choice and/or some cute leg warmers and you have a perfect Easter or photo shoot outfit...don't you think??!

xoxo,
Claudia

P.S. If you want to recreate this tutu, I found the pink and white striped ribbon at Hobby Lobby. If you  don't have the time or would rather purchase the tutu made I will be adding it to the Tini Divas shop.

Georgia {Sweet As A Peach} Baby Shower

This beautiful mama to be is Nina. She and her hubby are expecting their sweet her little girl GEORGIA very soon.  I was very happy when I was asked to help with her office surprise baby shower. She is always the one doing everything for everyone and it was nice to finally do something special for her.
I LOVE Georgia's nursery colors of peach, teal, yellow, and gray and used them as inspiration. No pink for this little peach!
For the backdrop I created a "Georgia" faux chalkboard print and attached it to a backless frame I found at Michaels. Added ribbon and then glued it onto a foam board along with some tissue flowers. Found this great tutorial on how to make the tissue flowers here.
Mama to be made the BEAUTIFUL quilt for her baby! Isn't it gorgeous?!

Our sweet coworker ordered the adorable cake from her friend.
Found these tini tiny fabric covered favor jars at Michaels. The fabric and twine is included with the jars but I also covered them with peach tulle to add some girly. Filled them with pastel colored mints. The ladies loved them!
I purchased the "G" from Land of Nod and hot glued some flowers to it. I found an easy peasy lace flower DIY here.
You all know I LOVE me some cuteness. I  truly enjoyed putting together this tini clothesline for sweet Georgia. Every little girl needs some lace, ruffles, and tutus right?!
Can't forget about the cute accessories too (flowered headbands and GORGEOUS gold shoes!).
Little girls are soooo much fun!!
Nina was super surprised. She had us all in tears.
I made these "Sweet Baby Girl" printable table signs. Added a little bit of ruffled trim and a little bitty flower to the onesie.
Gotta love Target! They had these peach buckets in their dollar spot. Perfect for the flower centerpieces.

I am so glad I still remembered how to make a diaper cake.  Had not made one in a LONG time! I used diapers, a receiving blanket, ruffled lace trim, satin ribbon, a little bit of tulle and paper flowers to make Georgia's diaper cake. Leave me a comment if you are interested in a tutorial on how to replicate it.
Our friend Lacey helped with this funny game. I did not win...hehe!
Congratulations Nina and Jason. Can't wait to meet your little peach.

xoxo,
Claudia

Claribel's "Little Man" Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago I had the honor of helping Rose with her sister's baby shower. I have know both Rose and Claribel for over 25 years. Needless to say they are both more than friends they are my sisters  too.
Choosing a theme for "Mrs. Little" was a no brainer once we were told that The Littles were expecting a little handsome.  Of course it had to be a "Little Man" baby shower. Rose picked the colors of yellow, gray, and blue. I absolutely loved her choice and had a great time working with both the colors and the theme.

Because the baby shower was held at nice quaint restaurant we decided to keep the dessert table small but sweet.
J At Your Service made this ADORABLE banner! It could not be more perfect....right?!
These beautiful candy apples and "Little Man" cookies were made by the talented Roni of Roni Sugar Creations. Aren't they just gorgeous?!
The table also included "It's a Boy" gum cigars, yummy rice crispy treats and cute stache chocolates made by Samantha from Sweets by Sam. Added tini ties to the rice crispy treats and everywhere else I could...hehe!
We hung a tini little man clothesline from the sweets table.
I created a special faux chalkboard to welcome the "Little" one to the world. I used color chalk on the print to give it some color, this is a great budget friendly way to add color to your prints.
Found the cutest little bow tie and mustache earrings to give to all the guests as favors. Created a matching earring holder that read "It's the LITTLE things that make life BIG". The ladies loved them!
I also made all the guest little ties that they could wear. I found a great tutorial on how to make them here
The guests were asked to write some useful advice for the parents to be. The advise was pinned on the little man mannequin. Awesome advise table sign from Three Little Monkeys Studio. Gretchen was so sweet, she changed the colors to match the shower.
e
Made props for some photo fun.
Chair banner for the "Little Mama"
Guests tables were set with gray runners, flowers, and "LITTLE baby, big BLESSING"table signs.
Each place setting included the menu, mustache rings,  embellished straws (bow tie, mustache, or glasses) and this brilliant "Name The Stache" game also made by Three Little Monkeys Studio.
The ladies loved the adorable straws because not only were they fun to drink out of but they also doubled as props. J At Your Service made the fancy bow tie and mustache straws.  I found the glasses at Michaels and my hubby spray painted them gray for me. Because he is cool like that.
We enjoyed Rose's lovely cupcakes as we played games.
Our sweet friends Denise and Annabelle helped us with the games. Which included "What size is the mommy's tummy" "Baby Scrabble" and "Guess how many in the baby bottle".
And of course the "Little Mama" opened all her wonderful and beautiful gifts.
It was such a sweet day. Claribel was surrounded by her closest friends and family. Everyone made it extra special for her. They showed her and her little man lots and lots of love.  We all can't wait to meet the new "Little" bundle of joy!

Congratulations my sweet amiga. We cannot even express how happy we are for you and Nate.  May God bless your "Little Man" with happiness and love always.

Love,
Claudia
